INTRODUCTION
"Place
is the focus of desire." "The
intersections between nature, culture, history and ideology form the ground
on which we stand "our land, our place, the local." "Home
is where one starts from... We shall not cease from exploration "No
landscape but… a kind of self-destroying postcard world of failed immortality
and oppressive grandeur." Wood is an architectural base in the rich zones of this natural resource. It is the reason for such a typolithographically diversion like a Swiss farmhouse, the farms and houses from Sweden, Denmark and Finland, the Russian orthodox churches, and the [dachas] summer in the same country. It is excellent in hot and humid countries, like Japan. The simple construction of Japanese cypress reflects the appearance and spirit of the old architecture designed in order to harmonize peacefully with the surrounding nature.
